I am an artist based in New Zealand who creates still life and landscapes from the world around me.

My passion for art started at the age of 8 in the studio of my grandfather in Sussex, England. I have been painting and drawing ever since.

With no formal art training I went back to school as an adult and in 1998 graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Whitecliffe College of Art and Design in Auckland New Zealand.

My art comes from what I see in the world around me combined with my inner world of experience, culture, myth and memory. I work in a mixture of mediums, sometimes combining more than one.

I hope you get as much enjoyment out of looking at my art as I get doing it.
